On Saturday 21st November 2009, there will be a Stampin' Up Christmas Extravaganza at The Papeterie, Stoneywood Mill, Bucksburn, Aberdeen.

Times are either 9.30am - 12.30pm OR 1.30pm - 4.30pm

£15 for 4 mini classes

Here’s how it works:When you host a workshop you need a minimum of £150 in sales to qualify for one set of free stamps and £15.00 worth of product from the catalogue·

In a Stampers 10 club there are 10 members.·

The club runs for ten months.·

Each member agrees to spend a minimum of £15.00 per month.

Each month a different club member is chosen to be the hostess.·

You do not actually have to host a workshop – it’s like having a virtual party.·

When it is your turn to be the hostess you are guaranteed to receive a level one hostess set of your choice free plus at least £15 to spend in the catalogue.·

You also get a free copy of the catalogue.

By joining a Stampers 10 Club you get the chance to spread the cost while building up your collection, and still being able to enjoy the free benefits. It’s that simple.

Another week - another card!

This must be a new record for me - a new blog post!!

My Mum asked me to make a card for a friend who is turning 70 this week.

Thanks to Karen Burniston for the inspiration - teal and black card - Karen Fab Blog

It was fun using the Sizzix pop up cake die. The centre structure was reinforced to stop it collapsing. I used Temping Turquoise and Black cardstock, Baroque motifs stamp set and lots of bling!


It is my Mum's birthday today so Happy Birthday to her and yes she did get a handmade card from me too!

Finally a card!!

Well it has taken me long enough to complete this card, what with trips to the beach, family visits and tennis games.

I enjoyed this and hope that it looks ok - the photo doesn't show the colours at their best but that is my fault.

Hopefully this will be the first of many that I actually put up here.

Sorry no card yesterday

Apologises but I got tied up finishing off wedding bits and bobs so didn't have time to do the card I wanted to.

I WILL GET ROUND TO IT.

Off to my Mum's on Saturday for the holiday so may bet a chance to play then. Forget the boys clothes and just pack my craft stuff and my tennis rackets.

Nearly time for the holidays

Thank goodness it is nearly holiday time and I invade my Mum's for most of the summer.

I have decided to TRY and post here each week - though daily was a bit too ambitious.

So I will be back later with a card using the Wild About You set.
