Another week - another card!

This must be a new record for me - a new blog post!!

My Mum asked me to make a card for a friend who is turning 70 this week.

It was fun using the Sizzix pop up cake die. The centre structure was reinforced to stop it collapsing. I used Temping Turquoise and Black cardstock, Baroque motifs stamp set and lots of bling!


It is my Mum's birthday today so Happy Birthday to her and yes she did get a handmade card from me too!

Finally a card!!

Well it has taken me long enough to complete this card, what with trips to the beach, family visits and tennis games.

I enjoyed this and hope that it looks ok - the photo doesn't show the colours at their best but that is my fault.

Hopefully this will be the first of many that I actually put up here.

Sorry no card yesterday

Apologises but I got tied up finishing off wedding bits and bobs so didn't have time to do the card I wanted to.

I WILL GET ROUND TO IT.

Off to my Mum's on Saturday for the holiday so may bet a chance to play then. Forget the boys clothes and just pack my craft stuff and my tennis rackets.

Nearly time for the holidays

Thank goodness it is nearly holiday time and I invade my Mum's for most of the summer.

I have decided to TRY and post here each week - though daily was a bit too ambitious.

So I will be back later with a card using the Wild About You set.

I must apologise for taking so long to post again but I think that I have finally recovered from Saturday 9th May when Dawn and I held our first Stampin' Up! Open Day and Classes.

Thanks to Kara, Diane and Sam for helping us it was greatly appreciate

It was nice to meet so many people in the morning at the demonstrations and make and takes. It was my first time teaching in the afternoon so hope you understood!

We enjoyed ourselves so much that we have booked our next event:

Time Flies - May Offer arrives

It has been such a long time since I last posted.

I have been so busy organising the Stamp Camp with Dawn and getting ready for my launch workshop.

I had my launch last Wednesday and "think" it went well. I had about 20 people come along. We had 3 make and takes so they got a chance to play with most things. Introduced stamping to quite a few people so pleased that they like it.

STAMP CAMP SNEAK PEAK

This is a sneak peak of one of the projects we will be making at the Stamp Scamp.

For the pop up cake, we will be using the soft subtles range, glitters, also stamping.
