Funky Friday - Something Sweet

This week is a theme challenge - Something Sweet.

I have been rushing around like a mad thing this week so am showing you a box, based on a class by Jenny Moors, that I have altered so the sides are straight rather than being a concertina.

Well what an exciting week. Toby is in full days at school now. Demonstrators got a preview of the new catalgoue - bigger and better.

I am off to a workshop tonight and then Fraserburgh tomorrow to help out a couple of fellow demonstrators at their event.

TGI - Funky Friday

This is Toby's last day of 1/2 days at school. From Monday he will be there the whole day - bet he will be so tired.

This week's challenge is a colour combo - Chocolate Chip, Elegant Eggplant, Pale Plum and Certainly Celery.

Here is my card. I tried to go for a clean and simple look this week and am pleased with the ribbon rosette.SUPPLIES

Toby's first day

Thought I would share some piccies from yesterday of Toby's forst day at school.


It was also my eldest's 8th birthday too so I made him this cake - it was a James Martin Chocolate Cola cake and tasted amazing - really moist.

Funky Friday

Well - i have to apologise but I have not done a project for this week's challenge.


I will explain - this week has been manic with Theo starting back to school on Wednesday and today Toby starts school and it is also Theo's birthday. We were sent the next few week's challenges by Abi and I didn't read it properly and used a different sketch to make Theo his card!!!!

I will try and get a card made over the weekend for this challenge.

I will be back a bit later with some photos of Toby and his first day at school.
