Sneak Peak - Number 5

Well I had a day off yesterday as it was the first day of the school holidays and I was recovering from my birthday.

I started my birthday by getting up first and I wasn't allowed in the fridge so couldn't even make myself a cup of tea however this was soon made up for by breakfast - Bucks Fizz and smoked salmon and then we had friends round in the afternoon - even more fizz consumed.

While I was away in Alford on Saturday, my lovely husband spend the day looking after the boys and manged to bake aswell. I actually got 2 birthday cakes - maybe I should go away more often!

He made a Coffee Chocolate Cake which not only looked amazing (check the professional icing) but tasted heavenly too.

The second cake was as requested - I said I would like a fun cake but had to be chocolate.

David did ask me during the week if I liked Jaffa Cakes but i did not twig at all. I have only started to eat chocolate again after giving it up for New Year when I was 17!

So here is the MEGA JAFFA CAKE.

Inside - just looks like a Jaffa cake and tasted like one too!

Anyway back to today's sneak peak from the New Mini Catalogue. If you joined in the blog hop I hope that you like seeing all the fabulous creations as much as I did - so much inspiration.

The inspiration for this card was from the back of last year's Idea Book and Catalogue. I loved the pleating effect and needed to try it. I like to be precise (as many of my friends know!) so worked out the measurements to get it even.

These are the new Night and Day papers and are only available until September. There is also no stamping involved!

SUPPLIES:
Cardstock: Basic Black, Regal Rose
DSP: Night and Day
Accessories: Cherished Memories rub ons, 1" circle punch, 11/4" circle punch, Regal Rose 5/8" grosgrain ribbon

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Stampin'

Elaine
