Not again

TIME - 4.30am

Been up for most of the night with Toby - poor wee chap is not feeling well and I am fed up changing sheets so he is watching tv - not much on at this time of night and I am on the computer.

Here are some pictures taken on Saturday.

Dawn hard at work!

At least Kara had time to smile!

And so did Kirsteen!
Will be back later with the project I did. There are picture on Fiona's and Dawn's blog too.

Yes Dawn - you will get yours on Saturday! I had better get my bag!

Convention Photos

Well the Christmas Market went well last night - handed out LOADS of catalogues - tried to make sure that everyone had one. Even gave the Headmaster a catalogue to give to his wife!

Time to share some piccies taken at convention. Tried to do this yesterday but my computer decided it was time to update itself and shut everything down.

EDINBURGH AIRPORT

Back Row (left to right): Kirsteen, Dawn, Annie, Louise
Front Row (left to right): Theresa, Lynne, ME, Emma.

GALA DINNER
Dawn and me in our glad rags. The beautiful thistle brooch was a roomie gift from Dawn and was PURPLE - my favourite colour.

This Emma and me with our Ness bags - check out www.nessbypost - and I LOVE my Ness shoes too. Just wait till next year's convention when there will be far more tartan (hopefully).

This was our table at Convention - next door to us was Shelli and her husband so we were on our best behaviour, except when it came to the awards when we all cheered madly for Dawn who was up and down to the stage well politely like a yoyo. Huge Congratulations to Dawn for all she has acheived and especially the all expenses paid trip to Monaco next June. (Maybe I can squeeze into her suitcase.

These are all the Scottish demos that were at Conventio. we just had to jump on stage and have our picture taken with Shelli. She did comment how small we were!

Convention was such fun and it is a shame that it is over. I am still buzzing with excitment and plans.

If you would like to join in the fun, contact me and find out the benefits of becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.

Daily update

Well I am so busy today as I am preparing for a Christmas Market tonight at one of the local primary schools and they get about 600 people through the doors. So I have plenty of catalogues to hand out and have roped in one of my lovely customers to help out too.

So if you are local I would love to see you at Cults Primary School Christmas from 7 till 9 tonight.

Convention #4

Here are the 2 styles of general swap that I made.

As some of you know I do like my stampamajig so I did about 80 trees, a total of 20 cards.

Trendy Trees - kraft, choc chip, pumpkin pie, always artichoke, elegant eggplant (used perfect plum ink) and night of navy. The tag punches work so well with this set. The November offers mean that you can get a free punch if you spend £45 on items from the gift giveing guide.

The second was using Flight of the Butterfly stamp set and matching punch. I also added vellum carstock. Colours used were black, elegant eggplant, kraft and taken with teal.

I have yet to go through my box of swaps that I received - think that will be like Christmas.

Convention #3

This is the 3D swap I made for thr group I was in.

It is a coaster using the new Bella Bleu Design Series Paper, Kraft card, taffeta ribbon, loads of letters, Not Quite Navy cardstock and the Bella's Bloom stamp set. The monogram chipboard was stamped with the new Bella Toile background stamp.

These products are fast becoming some of my favorites.

Here is a piccie of my card candy swap I did.

I used baroque motifis and really liked the challenge of trying to come up with toppers.

Hope you like it too.

In return I got fabulous swaps.

Check back for more - will post some photos of our trip.

Convention - Post #1

Well, back safe and sound from Frankfurt.

Thanks to Abi for sharing her photo of me - if I was any good at computer stuff then I could have highlighted her name - but I shall just insert her blog here - http://cornwallcraftystamper.blogspot.com/. I though I would return the favour. Not in focus but you get the message

URRRRRGHH

Here is a much prettier one:

Check back for more piccies and GOSSIP - never laughed so much in my life. What a hoot.

Also thanks to those people who made my weekend such "an experience". Maybe we need to visit some more.
