Last Day for Sale-a-Bration

The last day of February already.

I love this little trifold card. I think that Wild Wasabi is fast becoming one of my favourtite colours and I am not a green person (more a purple one) as those that know will confirm.

I thought that the paper daisy was a bit plain so
used the Spritzer tool with the Rich Razzleberry Marker so add a bit of interest.

SUPPLIES
:
Stamp Set: SAB - Punch Bunch, Sweet Summer
Card: Wild Wasabi, Rich Razzleberry, Crumb Cake, Whisper White
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Rich Razzleberry
Stampin' Write Marker: Rich Razzleberry
DSP: Subtles Designer Series Paper Pack
Accessories: Paper Daisies, Piercing tool and mat pack, spritzer tool, bone folder, scallop circle punch, 1 3/8" circle punch, 1/4" rich razzleberry grosgrain ribbon, rhinestone jewels, blender pen.

Hope to see you again tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by.

3 Squares Challenge

I think that my mojo may have made a return!

I have just discovered Less is More, a challenge blog, with the aim of keeping it CAS (clean and simple). This week's challenge is 3 squares.

I am quite pleased with this card and my hubby likes it to!

I must admit that the colour was not going to be Perfect Plum. I had intended to make the squares Baja Breeze but had forgot to clean my brayer!!!!

I made a mask from grid paper using the 1 3/8" sqaure punch.

SUPPLIES:
Stamp Set: Pocket Silhouettes
Card: Whisper White, Perfect Plum
Ink: Baja Breeze - on top of an unclean brayer! Black Staz On, Versamark
Accessories: Black Journaler pen, clear embossing powder

THe tidying the craft room has gone well and I have even managed to put all my scraps into polypockets labelled with the colour - I have a lot of scraps. Maybe I should take a picture of the bulging file. I do aim to use up as much of the scraps as possible.

I seem to keep the tiniest piece of card - good for punching out little things, so keep coming back to see if I have used some scraps!

Thanks for stopping by.

Easter Slider Box

I know that it is probably on the early side but I love the little slider box that i showed you yesterday so wanted to share the Easter box with you. I is big enough to hold a small packet of mini eggs - not shown here as I have yet to buy some!

This was a boy's version and I made a girl's version using So Saffron and Regal Rose. The little bunnies paper is from the Nursery Suite Speciality papers.

SUPPLIES:
Card: Pear Pizzazz, Baja Breeze, Whisper White
Ink: Baja Breeze
DSP: Nursery Suite Speciality
Accessories: 5/8" Whisper White grosgrain ribbon, Corner rounder, sticky strip, Styled Silver hodgepodge hardware, Designer Label large punch

I am working away in the craft room today - trying to tidy up and sort out all the scraps etc that I seem to have found in a box - just wondering what I can do with them?

Thanks for stopping by.

Gift Box

This is a gift box that I demonstrated at a recent workshop. It was based on a tutorial I found here by a US SU demonstrator Emma Fewkes.

I have used the NEW fancy flower extra-large punch which is now available to order.

The petals have a faux suede/felt effect which I did by using my bone folder and breaking the fibres of the cardstock - do it enough and the cardstock can be peeled apart.

There is a subtle shimmer to the flowers which was done using Champagne shimmer mist mixed with rubbing alcohol and sprayed over. The cover slides of the box.

SUPPLIES
:
Card: Concord Crush, Peach Parfait, Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz
Accessories: Pear Pizzazz Ribbon, Fancy Flower extra-large punch, Two-step bird punch, 5-petal flower extra large punch, Boho Blossoms extra-large punch, corner rounder, Basic Pearls.

Tennis was good last night, felt a bit stiff this morning but off to Zumba tonight - such a great workout.

SUCH a long time

Well, I can't explain where the time has gone since I last blogged - oh I do - we had snow, snow, snow which had to be cleared constantly from the road, then Christmas and for the last few weeks I have been working on a huge commission for a local playgroup - handmade recipe books.

I did have this post sort of ready to go before Christmas but thought I would show you now.

In November, Stampin' Up! held its 2nd European Convention and this time it was in London. All the following photos were taken by the Official Stampin' Up! Convetion photographer.

Me and my "roomie" and sideline Kara waiting in line to register and collect our bags and badges

The Tartan Stampers

The Gala Dinner - the food was very tasty.
Walking the stage for my sales award - did say I was going to be head to toe in Ness - even my bag matched too. Had to wear tartan being from Scotland!

The top 25 UK demonstrators.

I have a workshop tonight so check back to see the project we did.

Thanks for stopping by.
